Does the W1 need charging?

Nope. It’s wired — plug it in and it works. No battery, no charging, no waiting.

Can my child use it for online classes?

Yes. The built-in mic is tuned for clear voice pickup — suitable for video calls, online lessons, and anything else that needs them to speak and be heard.

Is the 85dB limit a hard cap?

Yes. Hardware-enforced — the volume cannot go above 85dB regardless of device settings, in compliance with EN50332-2 (a European technical standard used to measure maximum sound pressure levels and output safety for personal audio players and headphones).

What age is this suitable for?

Designed for children aged 3 and up.

Are the ear pads replaceable?

Yes — the W1 uses removable PU leather ear pads, which are interchangeable with the CareBuds Max myFirst Carebuds Max – myFirst.

Can I control music with the cable?

Yes — the inline control on the cable lets you play and pause. For muting on calls, use the mute function in your calling app directly.
